The new season is a good moment to re-examine our choices and re-align them with our ecological values. At Tribus Urbaines, that’s exactly what we’re doing – striving to limit the negative impact on our environment as much as possible. One way to help us do this is to follow us onto the train, both literally and figuratively towards ever less plastic in our packaging and ever less chemistry in our dyes!
First step: choose your ticket
Subscriptions
We are launching a new system of subscription-based services, valid for 12 months on all our treatments (including Oway’s new “rebuilding” treatment), curl definitions, and our treatment+curl definition packages.
The subscription works as follows:
- 6 services purchased for use within 12 months = 15% discount
- 3 services purchased for use within 12 months = 10% discount
The subscription can be purchased online or directly at the salon. You can pay it all at once or in up to three monthly instalments.
Step Two: Take the right Train
At Tribus Urbaines, our engine pulls a special train full of services specially adapted to textured hair. And on this train, care is the number one priority, even in the coloring processes.
So now in both salons, you can enjoy vegetable coloring services with the Couleurs Gaïa brand. In reality, the Ayurvedic powders of Couleurs Gaïa are actually at their core, care treatments, on top of being coloring agents. They bring body, shine and luminous reflections to your hair, whatever it’s base color.
In both salons, you can also enjoy a semi-vegetable coloring service (or soft chemistry) with the OWAY brand. By the end of this year, we will completely abandon chemical coloring, and offer only semi-vegetable coloring with OWAY and vegetable coloring with Couleurs Gaïa.
The great novelty in our treatment offer is the rebuilding treatment from OWAY. It is applied in the salon using an infrared plate. A series of 3 to 4 applications over 3 months helps rebuild and strengthen the hair fiber, making your hair stronger, fuller and shinier. It’s particularly recommended in the case of chemically colored hair or in the case of fine, damaged or lifeless hair.
So make an appointment for a Couleurs Gaïa herbal hair color (treatment), an OWAY semi-vegetable hair color or an OWAY rebuilding treatment today!
Because on our train, quality products suitable for textured hair is what we’re made of – effective, quality hair products with minimal ecological impacts (composition, organic certification, packaging, origin of products, etc.).
Following this same ecological promise, products made closer to home (in France, Italy or UK) such as OWAY, Bouclème Kalia Nature, Icahair, Madame la présidente, Niir and Couleurs Gaïa. will now replace the Nanacy Falaise brand (produced in Canada) and the organic brand Innersense (produced in the USA).
But the biggest new train car in the Tribus Urbaines train is the one to soon be filled with the new Tribus Urbaines products!
TADA! We are happy and proud to announce that we are working with FAROEM laboratories in Peseux (canton of Neuchâtel) to launch a range of Tribus Urbaines hair products by the end of the year. It will be a range of 100% natural products, produced in Switzerland and packaged in glass.
