To celebrate the first month of our adventure, Jagoda Wisniewska, a photographer working the for concept store and the blog Les Toiles, paid us a visit to give an interview and create a collection of photos that perfectly illustrate the essence of the TRIBUS URBAINES mission. Thank you, Jagoda!
Additionally, we want to thank our single-day models: Ashanah, Hawa, Lila, Jurena and Julliana (from the blog What would Miranda say). These beautiful, amazing women put their curls at our disposal for the entire morning for care treatments, cutting and styling and let us photograph their transformations. All this took place of course under the supervision of Whitney Houston (that’s right, the fantastic American singer).
If only you could have seen the fruits of our work by the end of the morning! Sylvie was constantly sweeping the floor, using the broom as a mike. Carine, 8 months pregnant, danced while coloring hair. As for Mahine and Charline, they executed their work without distraction despite the improvised disco around them.
You might think that we were in New York or Paris during fashion week. However, all these events took place in Lausanne at TRIBUS URBAINES.
