the moment when we say goodbye to vacation days…<\/h2>\n

We hope, like us, you had a chance to rest, and maybe even travel. Ripe fruit and vegetables, sleep and reading were the heart of our summer. We moved to nature\u2019s rhythm at the lake, in the mountains and among tree-filled city parks.<\/p>\n

But now it\u2019s back to work !<\/strong><\/p>\n

Time to carefully craft our look – clothes, hairstyle, makeup and accessories make up our \u00ab armor \u00bb, both protective and signature. Our look is how we present ourselves to the world. And it\u2019s important, in doing so, to be true to ourselves, to embrace our identities and our true nature without distortion, committing ourselves to unconditional self-love.<\/p>\n

And you know what else?<\/h2>\n

This year, we have graduated to \u00ab secondary school \u00bb as Tribus Urbaines is being transforming into a Limited Company (SA) and welcomes 19 new shareholders who are, for the most part, also clients !<\/p>\n

So on one hand, we\u2019re proud and happy with what we learned and how we performed in \u00ab elementary school \u00bb and can\u2019t wait to take the next step. On the other hand, we\u2019re feeling the pressure of becoming a larger company and the weight of our ambition \u2013 to thrive in and contribute to a social, sustainable and solidarity economy.<\/p>\n

So, revisions to the business plan has replaced more entertaining summer readings – like Leonora Miano’s Red Empress<\/em><\/a>, Madison Smartt Bell’s All Soul’s Rising<\/em><\/a> or Elena Ferrante’s My Brilliant Friend<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

A return to business means a new intensive study program! To ensure the profitability of Tribus Urbaines we\u2019ll turn to Profit First<\/em><\/a> by Mike Michalowicz. We\u2019ll get ideas to ensure great salon management by reading Traction<\/em><\/a> by Gino Wickman. And we\u2019ll prepare for the opening of our 3rd salon in Biel next spring 2022 with a reading of Deutsch, Deutsch, Deutsh :-).<\/p>\n

Growing up is no joke. But we\u2019re ready to work hard and we won\u2019t forget to laugh a lot during recess.<\/p>\n
